National Roofing Week 2019

Proud to be an NRCA member - National Roofing Week 2019

It’s National Roofing Week! This week has been designated by the National Roofing Contractors Association – or the NRCA.

Being a member of the NRCA means a company has the highest professional standards in the country.

There are more than 3,500 members from the United States and 53 other countries around the world. In addition, local, state, regional, and international roofing contractor associations call the NRCA their voice in the industry.

Because the NRCA is one of the most respected trade associations within the construction industry, it is in a unique position to champion the businesses, contractors, and potential contractors who bring you the very best.

NRCA’s Mission

One of the NRCA’s state goals for National Roofing Week is to raise awareness about the importance of roofs and professional roofing contractors, which is what we try to do with this blog as well.

As a professional roofing company, we often see that home and building owners ignore or neglect their roofs until they fall into disrepair.

If you have never had the experience of needing to replace the roof on your home or business, you may not think about how valuable this piece of real estate is.

Roofs are protecting our historic buildings, valuable businesses, and priceless families.

National Roofing Week seeks to highlight the vital role your local roofing contractor plays in your community, and how important it is to make informed decisions about your roof.

How Do You Celebrate National Roofing Week?

This isn’t exactly like National Donut Day. We know you all aren’t going to go out and buy a new roof in celebration.

This is a chance for us to show you more of what we do and why we care so much.

It’s a chance for roofing businesses to share their charitable donations and to be highlighted in trade publications. It’s a chance for you to see who’s in our roofing “family” and to share their stories on social media during #nationalroofingweek.

In addition, it is also a chance for us to help the NRCA promote careers in the roofing or construction industries.

The NRCA is raising $100,000 toward the Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program in its first-ever Giving Day held on June 7th. The funds will provide scholarships to students planning to pursue construction careers.
